2018/19 College received "Indywood Education Excellence Awards 2017"

The prestigious Indywood Education Excellence Awards 2017 concluded successfully at Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad on 2 nd December 2017. The award was organised to recognize and facilitate educationalists and Institutions for their relentless services and efforts. The Award Presenters for the event were Mrs. Sandhya Puttyah Jugnauth, Ministry of Arts and Culture, Mauritius and Nanda Narrainen, Head – Film & Creative Industries.
Indywood Education Excellence Awards was also bestowed upon two different categories: Individual and Organisation. The winners included Mr. Naga Prasad Tummala, Chairman, People Combine. (Contribution to Education Management & Consulting); Mr. Sanjeev Naik Nimbalkar, Secretary , Phaltan Education Society (Educational Initiative - Professional Development for Rural Youth); Dr. Mohan Rao Yadlapalli, Motivational Speaker & Personality Development Trainer (Contribution to Training & Development); Dr. CH. V. Purushotham Reddy, Principal, Chaitanya Degree College (Contribution to Higher Education); Dr. V. J Naidu, Consultant, UNDP (Excellence in Educational Consultancy); Dr. K. Karunakaran, Principal & Secretary, Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts and Science (Innovative Educational Practices); Dr. I Krishna Pillai, Chairman, Cape Group of Institutions (Contribution to Education Sector - Entrepreneurship); Dr. Ishari K Ganesh, Founder, Chancellor of Vels University (Contribution to Education Sector - Visionary Leader); Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani - Dubai Campus (Institute of Excellence in Innovative Technology - DUBAI CAMPUS); Manipal University - Dubai Campus (Institute of Excellence in Architecture and Engineering - DUBAI CAMPUS); Nalla Malla Reddy Engineering College (Regional Engineering Educational Institute); College Of Agricultural Biotechnology (Institute of Excellence in Agricultural Studies); Faizal And Shabana Foundation (Best Initiative - Infrastructure Development); Federal Institute of Science and Technology (Best College for Technical Education); KIMS College of Nursing (Institute of Excellence in Nursing Studies) and My Dream Campus (Innovative Educational Mobile App).
Indywood Educational Excellence Awards 2017 was organized as a part of Project Indywood, a US$10 Billion Project to be initiated by a consortium of 2000 Indian
corporate and Multi-Millionaires.
Recognizing the contributions, outstanding services and accomplishments spanning through a career in journalism, Indywood Education Excellence Award – Life Time Achievement - Teaching was bestowed upon Prof. Vivekanandan Paramu, Professor, SN College; Mr. Sailanathan Podian, Founder, Director and CEO of Kolej Megatech was bestowed with Life Time Achievement – Entrepreneurship; Dr. Ajith Kumar Nagpal, Chairman And Director General, Amity University was bestowed with Life Time Achievement - Leadership; Dr. S. Gurumadhva Rao, Vice Chancellor, Rak Medical University was bestowed with Life Time Achievement – Academics. Special Hall of Fame - Entrepreneurship In Education was bestowed upon Mr. A. M. Gopalan, Chairman And Managing Director, Sree Gokulam Group Of Companies.

A Panel Discussion on ‘How technology can enhance the quality of education’ was also conducted during the ceremony. The panel member included – Dr. Mohan Rao Yadlapalli, Motivational Speaker & Personality Development Trainer; Dr. S.V. KOTA Reddy, President - Academics, Manipal University and Dr. R.N.Shah, Director, BITS Pilani - Dubai Campus. The discussion was on different measures that can be taken to improve the quality of education in the country. The session was moderated by Mr. Amarnath Goud, Founder/CEO, MY DREAM CAMPUS, MALAYSIA.
